A little bit more about me -

I’m Chlarize (kla-rees). Born in Philippines 🌴 Raised in Los Angeles.

Before becoming a designer, I was a nurse driven by the desire to help people. I worked with a spectrum of personas and rare cases like quadraplegic patients using their chins to navigate apps. I witnessed how seemingly small design choices can impact quality of life.

My patients were users with pain points and I used research, problem solving and collaboration to help them reach their goals.

My experiences gave me unique insights about helping people. I learned that empathy can improve any situation. And in places where choices can mean life or death, defining the right problem is half the solution.
